La Pentera

We picked this location for my birthday during our stay in Sri Lanka. We where treated like royalty, the bed has petals spelling out a birthday greeting and we where constantly looked after during our stay. The BBQ was most enjoyable even though I am vegetarian they made a great effort. We went on a safari with them the second day, also visited the river and had lunch there. The owner was staying during our time and we even gave us a lift to our next hotel. We have kept in contact with the manager during our next stay close by and he organised our safari and lift to Hika!!! The prices are very reasonable and the staff and beyond compare! I will defiantly we back here on my next trip - I will never forget it!

The staff were very good and arranged activities for us. We loved our breakfast, all of the food was amazing there. There is so much wildlife around the area and the canoe around the lake at the back of the hotel was so peaceful with lots of different birds to spot.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The treehouse was amazing, the lighting at night created a beautiful ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we would have a memorable experience. Thanks for everything, Catherine, Wayne and Tori Preney
